Spiewak, Est. 1904
With so many designers and brand names flooding clothing racks across the country, it can be hard to find something with a genuine history and an established quality. Since 1904, Spiewak has solidified itself as the best of the best when it comes to jackets and outerwear. Starting on the streets of Brooklyn at the turn of the century, this still family owned and controlled company quickly rose in the industry when they decided to support the US with their entry into WWI in 1917 by providing wool pea coats for the US Army and Navy, which remain in production to this day. Due to the comfort and durability of their product, they were commissioned once again by the US Military to provide uniforms and jackets to soldiers during WWII, and with the introduction of the US Airforce, Spiewak created the very first bomber jacket, remaining a fashion staple ever since. They are currently the uniform providers for the brave men and women in the police force, fire department and emergency medical responders and they carry the very same dedication to quality into their fashion lines.
